RE: Different internet domains on one Lotus domain ~Nita Umreter 10.Mar.07 10:05 PM a Web browser Domino Server 6.5.1Windows 2003
On the Router/SMTP Basics tab of your config doc set the Address Lookup field to Fullname Only. You need to make both xx.com and yy.com domain aliases because if the router does not find an exact match of the full internet address it will also check the primary domain as well.
For example:
If your primary internet domain is xx.com and yy.com is an internet domain alias and someone sends a msg to jdoe@yy.com, if no match is found it will try jdoe@xx.com.
But if your primary is zz.com and someone sends to jdoe@yy.com the router will try jdoe@zz.com but will NOT try jdoe@xx.com. Hope this makes sense.
